Movie Time

Driving Miss Daisy
Today I watched the movie, Driving Miss Daisy, a 1989 movie. It's indeed a very good film. I loved the acting the of Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy. The story is very good. Both Morgan and Tandy were nominated for Oscars. Tandy won the award and became the oldest woman to get the Academy Award for the best Actress. The movie also grabbed the Academy Award for Best Film. Other Academy awards won by the film are Best Make up and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The movie revolves around Miss Daisy and her view through a network of relations. Miss Daisy is a 72 year old widow. She lives with her housemaid Idella. The film shows the nature and personality of Miss Daisy, an old choleric, suspicious, and a bold woman. Morgan Freeman played the role of Hoke Colburn, chauffeur of Miss Daisy. Hoke was appointed by Miss Daisy's son for her mother, but she refuses to let Hoke drive her car. Somehow Hoke persuade Miss Daisy to let him drive her car. The movie, then, concentrate on the relation of Hoke and Miss Daisy.
The movie also have light humor which makes it quite entertaining. If you are looking for a good time with your family, this movie should be your top priority.
